Welcome to Exploring Art with Ms. Jamie

Jamie Butterworth is a long-time Burbank resident and got involved with the arts when
her now 27 and 24 year-old daughters were at Edison Elementary. She has been teaching kids (and adults)
since 2014 and won the Best of Burbank for Kids' Art Classes last year! Ms. Jamie is looking forward to another year of new projects where students learn the elements of art, use a variety of materials,
and study the styles and lives of different artists!​

​Exploring Art is designed for 1st grade and up!
Students will get a strong visual arts foundation learning about the elements of art,
principles of design, different artists and art forms, and techniques.
They will use a variety of materials including watercolors,
oil pastels, tempera paints, markers, and textiles. 
Using their own creativity, students will produce beautiful, age-appropriate artwork.
