Materials Needed for Paint Nights
You will need a set of 12 acrylic paints, medium flat brush, small round, 8" x 10" canvas or canvas board,
a pallet (plastic plate or old/cheap cutting board work well), water, and paper towels.
If you are just starting out, the easiest thing to do is order one of the kits below (full disclosure, you don't pay anymore but these are affiliate links so I get a small percentage back from Amazon for each sale.)
I recommend them because I've tried both and they work well and have everything you need -
12 paints, 6 brushes, and 3 - 8"x10" canvases.
I prefer locally owned small businesses, though, so if you are in the San Fernando Valley area,
try Carter Sexton Artists Materials at 5308 Laurel Canyon Blvd. They are one of the few
locally-owned art stores still around and are very knowledgable and helpful.
